Fire danger is very high in the Los Angeles Gateway Ranger District. Wood or charcoal campfires are prohibited outside developed recreation sites. Portable stoves using gas or liquid fuel are allowed with a valid California Campfire Permit. Check current conditions for any specific restrictions at your intended destination before you go.

Firearm discharge restricted to authorized public shooting ranges. Hunting with valid license and during open season permitted.

- Discharge only within current authorized public shooting ranges listed in Exhibit A
Exceptions
- Persons hunting during open hunting season with valid California hunting license may discharge firearm at legal game bird or mammal
