Campfires are permitted only in developed campgrounds with provided rings, but wood or charcoal fires are prohibited outside these sites. Propane and gas stoves are allowed in developed areas, and portable backpacker stoves are permitted outside developed areas with a permit. Always check current conditions and specific regulations for your intended location before your visit.
