Fire danger is high in the Georgetown Ranger District. Campfires are prohibited in backcountry and dispersed areas. In developed recreation sites, campfires are allowed only in existing fire rings or grills, and camp stoves require a valid permit. Fireworks and explosives are prohibited. Always check current conditions and specific site regulations before your trip.

Campfires allowed only in existing stoves, charcoal grills, or fire rings in developed recreation sites actively serviced by camp host.
