The Willow fire is 7,534 acres and 80% contained, though it is still growing. Fire danger is high in the Aspen Ranger District. Campfires are prohibited in backcountry and dispersed areas. Check specific campground rules for campfires in developed sites, as these may be allowed in permanent fire rings or prohibited entirely. Propane and gas stoves are allowed with clearance requirements, but welding and torch use may be restricted.
