Active fires are burning in the Lochsa/Powell Ranger District. The Cascade fire is 7,475 acres and 50% contained, the Moose Mountain fire is 5,832 acres and 25% contained, and the Grotto fire is 3,856 acres and 0% contained; all are growing but becoming more contained. The Selway River Trail #4 is closed from Cupboard Creek to Big Rock due to the Cascade fire. Fire danger ratings are not currently published, so confirm current restrictions and check the latest weather before your trip. Campfire rules may vary by location.
