The Doublesprings fire is 1,779 acres and 50% contained, with a trend toward more containment. Fire danger is high in the Lost River Ranger District. Campfires are allowed in developed campgrounds and picnic areas with installed fire pits, but backcountry campfires are prohibited except with a permit. Propane and liquid fuel stoves are allowed with clearance requirements. Always check current conditions and specific area restrictions before your trip.
