- Persons engaged in authorized business, trade or occupation when accompanied by Forest Officer
- Persons using pressurized liquid or gas stoves with shut-off mechanism in barren/cleared areas (3 ft clearance)
- Federal, State, local officers and organized rescue/firefighting resources on official duty
- Permit holders (FS-7700-48) or authorized exemptions
- Authorized business/trade persons accompanied by Forest Officer
