Fire danger is high in the Tiller Ranger District. Campfires are prohibited in backcountry and dispersed areas, but allowed in designated recreation sites with Forest Service-constructed fire rings. Pressurized fuel stoves are permitted with a 3-foot clearance. Check current conditions before your trip, as restrictions can change.

Exceptions
- Cook stoves fueled by gas, jellied petroleum, or pressurized liquid fuel/propane with on/off switch and 3-foot clearance
- Campfires in Mt. Thielsen, Boulder Creek, and Rogue-Umpqua Divide Wilderness areas are not prohibited
- Propane/pressurized fuel stoves with on/off switch allowed if flammable vegetation cleared 3 feet on all sides
