Specific trails, roads, and recreation sites closed in Bear Gulch Fire area (Mt. Rose Trail #814, Mildred Lakes Trail #822, Dry Creek Trail #872, Copper Creek Trail #876, Forest Road 2400 mile posts 10.5–14.5, and associated trailheads and picnic areas).

Conditions

  • Closures effective October 6, 2025 through October 1, 2026 unless rescinded earlier
  • Applies to NFS lands within defined closure area boundaries

Exceptions

  • Federal, State, or local officers in performance of official duty
  • Organized rescue or fire-fighting forces in performance of official duty
  • Persons with Forest Service Permit FS-7700-48 specifically exempting them from this order
