Fire danger is high around Hoodsport and the Hood Canal Ranger District. Campfires are prohibited in both developed campgrounds and backcountry areas. Propane and pressurized fuel stoves are allowed if they have an on/off switch and are used with three feet of clearance from vegetation. Check current conditions and specific site regulations before your trip.
