A Red Flag Warning is in effect for the Doublehead Ranger District, with extreme fire danger. Backcountry campfires are prohibited except in the South Warner Wilderness and designated recreation sites. Campfires are allowed in designated recreation sites, but always confirm current conditions. Propane and pressurized liquid fuel stoves are permitted with a valid California campfire permit. Welding and torch use with an open flame are prohibited.
