Fire danger is high in the Feather River Ranger District. Backcountry campfires are prohibited, but campfires are allowed in designated recreation sites listed in Exhibit A. Propane and fuel stoves are permitted with a California Campfire Permit and proper clearance. Check current conditions and specific site regulations before your trip.

- Federal, State, local officers and organized rescue/firefighting forces in official duty
- Recreation residence permit holders and resort/educational center staff at their facilities
