Plumas National Forest Fire Danger & Restrictions
Fire danger is high across the Plumas National Forest. Backcountry campfires are prohibited, but campfires are allowed in designated recreation sites. Propane and fuel stoves require a California Campfire Permit and must be at least three feet from flammable materials. Always check current conditions and specific restrictions for your intended location before heading out.
