Fire danger is moderate in the Hayfork Ranger District. Campfires are prohibited in the backcountry unless at designated fire safe sites with a permit. Campfires are allowed in developed campgrounds listed in Exhibit A. Portable stoves with a shut-off valve are permitted in cleared areas. Always check the latest weather and specific campground regulations before your trip.
