Shasta-Trinity National Forest Fire Danger & Restrictions
Fire danger is moderate across most of the Shasta-Trinity National Forest, with low danger in the Yolla Bolla Ranger District. Campfires are generally allowed in developed campgrounds, but backcountry campfires may be prohibited or require a permit depending on the specific ranger district. Check current restrictions for your planned area, especially for wilderness and lakefront camping, and confirm portable stove regulations before your trip. Fireworks and explosives are always prohibited.
