Fire danger is extreme across the Grand Valley Ranger District. Campfires are prohibited in all developed campgrounds, picnic areas, and backcountry locations. Propane and gas stoves are permitted if used in a cleared area. Confirm current conditions and any specific restrictions for your planned destination before you go.
