Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests Fire Danger & Restrictions

Fire danger is extreme across the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre, and Gunnison National Forests. All campfires are prohibited in both developed campgrounds and backcountry areas. Propane and gas stoves are allowed if used in a cleared area with flammable materials removed within three feet. Always check the specific ranger district and current weather conditions before your trip.
