San Juan National Forest Fire Danger & Restrictions
Fire danger is high across the San Juan National Forest. All campfires and open fires are prohibited in both backcountry and developed campgrounds. Propane and gas stoves are allowed if cleared of flammable materials within three feet. Check with the specific Ranger District for any additional restrictions before your trip.
