Low fire danger today.

Fire danger is currently low in the Carson Ranger District. Campfires are allowed in developed campgrounds with approved fire pits, but backcountry campfires are prohibited. The Hawk Fire and Elephant Fire closure areas remain restricted, prohibiting entry, road use, and trail use. Portable stoves using gas, jellied petroleum, or pressurized liquid fuel are permitted. Always check current conditions and specific area regulations before your trip.
