Fire danger is currently low in the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area. Backcountry campfires are prohibited within one mile of homes in specific canyons, but campfires are allowed in developed campgrounds with approved fire pits. Portable stoves using gas, jellied petroleum, or pressurized liquid fuel are permitted. Always check current conditions and specific restrictions for your intended location before your visit.
