Fire danger is high in the Emigrant Creek Ranger District. Campfires are prohibited in both backcountry and developed campgrounds. Propane and pressurized stoves are allowed with clearance, but welding and explosives are restricted. Check current conditions for any closures, including the Second Flat Fire area and FSR 41.

- FSR 41 closure: from FSR-4120 junction north to FSR-4335 junction closed July 17 – December 31, 2026
