Wildfire danger is high in the Clackamas River Ranger District. The AUSTIN fire has grown to 12,722 acres and is 22% contained, while the THE NARROWS fire is 304 acres and 26% contained. All campfires and open fires are prohibited in both backcountry and developed campground areas. Propane stoves with an on/off switch are allowed if cleared 3 feet from vegetation. Check current conditions before your trip as restrictions can change.
