Fire danger is high on the Ferron Ranger District. Campfires are prohibited in backcountry areas but allowed with conditions in developed campgrounds. Check specific campground rules before you go. Explosives, fireworks, and tracer ammunition are prohibited. Portions of the district may be closed due to the Black Canyon Fire; confirm current closure status.
