Fire danger is very high in the Moab Ranger District. Campfires are prohibited in the backcountry, but allowed in permanent Forest Service fire pits at developed campgrounds. Propane and gas stoves are permitted with safety precautions. Check current conditions and specific campground rules before your trip.
