Fire danger is moderate in the Sanpete Ranger District. Campfires are prohibited in both developed campgrounds and backcountry areas. You may use propane or liquid fuel stoves if they have a shutoff valve and you maintain a 10-foot clearance. Tracer, incendiary, and exploding ammunition are prohibited for target shooting, and welding or grinding work is also restricted. Always check the latest weather and specific local restrictions before your trip.
