Fire danger is high at Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument. All campfires are prohibited in both backcountry and developed campground areas. Propane and pressurized stoves are allowed if they have an on/off switch and are used at least three feet from vegetation. Check current conditions and specific site regulations before your visit.
