The HIGH LAVA fire is 2,899 acres and 63% contained, with a growing but more contained trend. Fire danger is very high across the Mt. Adams Ranger District. All campfires are prohibited in both backcountry areas and developed campgrounds. Additionally, all explosives are prohibited, and welding or grinding with open flame torches is not allowed. Check specific closure areas for the HIGH LAVA fire before your trip.
