Active fires in the Wenatchee River Ranger District include the LITTLE GIANT fire at 171,526 acres, 81% contained, and the GOAT fire at 810 acres, 3% contained, both showing growth but increasing containment. The PADDY GO fire is 15 acres and growing. Fire danger is high, and all campfires and target shooting are prohibited forest-wide under Stage 2 restrictions. Pressurized liquid fuel stoves are allowed with safety conditions, but check for specific area closures related to the LITTLE GIANT fire before your trip.
