Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest Fire Danger & Restrictions
Active fires include the SISI fire at 4,743 acres, discovered August 14, 2026, and 34% contained, and the THREE QUEENS fire at 9,575 acres, discovered July 16, 2026, and 82% contained, along with the KING fire at 3,427 acres, discovered August 19, 2026, and 72% contained. Several trails and areas are closed due to these fires, including parts of the Pacific Crest Trail and developed sites like Owhi Campground. Fire danger is rated moderate across most of the forest, with low danger in the Methow Valley. Always check specific ranger district closures and current fire restrictions before your trip.
