Inyo National Forest Fire Danger & Restrictions
Fire danger is moderate across the Inyo National Forest. Campfires are allowed in developed campgrounds but are restricted in many backcountry areas above 10,000 feet; always check specific regulations for your destination. Portable stoves with pressurized fuel are permitted with a valid permit. Welding and grinding with open flames are prohibited forest-wide.
