Klamath National Forest Fire Danger & Restrictions

Fire danger is extreme across the Klamath National Forest. Campfires are prohibited in backcountry and wilderness areas but allowed in designated campgrounds and picnic areas. Pressurized liquid or gas stoves are permitted outside recreation sites with a California Campfire Permit and a cleared area at least five feet from flammable materials. Always check the specific restrictions for your intended campground or ranger district before you go.
