Sawtooth National Forest Fire Danger & Restrictions
Fire danger is extreme across much of the Sawtooth National Forest, with Stage 1 restrictions in place. Campfires are prohibited in backcountry and dispersed areas but allowed in developed campgrounds and picnic sites with permanent fire structures. Propane and liquid fuel stoves are permitted with clearance requirements. Always check current conditions and specific ranger district regulations before your trip.
