Sawtooth National Forest Fire Danger & Restrictions
Fire danger is high across most of the Sawtooth National Forest, and very high in the Minidoka Ranger District. Backcountry campfires are prohibited in the Minidoka District, but allowed in developed campgrounds and picnic areas with permanent fire pits. Propane and liquid fuel stoves are permitted with conditions. Always check current conditions and specific ranger district regulations before your trip, as rules can vary.
